Meet the Director

Mr. Morrison is the Director of Choirs at Collierville High School. A native of Connecticut, Mr. Morrison completed his Bachelor of Music in Choral Music Education at Ithaca College in upstate New York. He holds a Master of Music in Choral 

Conducting from Florida State University.

 

At FSU, Mr. Morrison conducted the FSU Vocal Jazz Ensemble, FSU Choral Union, FSU Chamber Choir, and advised various undergraduate education and conducting courses. Prior to CHS, Mr. Morrison was the Director of Choirs at Kinsella Magnet School of Performing Arts in Hartford, CT. There, his choirs earned Platinum rankings as well as the Esprit de Corp awards for collegiality and camaraderie.

 

CHS Choirs have earned consistent Sweepstakes and Superior awards at Senior High Choral Festival under the direction of Mr. Morrison. In his free time, Mr. Morrison enjoys cooking, long walks, and enjoying the southern sun.
