The Choirs
Collierville High School offers three ensemble opportunities for choir singers to partake in. All choirs meet 85 minutes a day. Students enrolled in choir must register for both fall and spring semesters. All students may take choir for honors credit.
Mixed Choir
Mixed Choir is a junior varsity SATB auditioned choir for 9-12 graders. Students in Mixed Choir will explore vocal technique, choral tone, and beginner reading skills. Mixed Choir may be taken for honors credit
Treble Choir
Treble Choir is an advanced SSAA auditioned choir for 9-12 graders. Students in Treble Choir will explore vocal technique, choral tone, and intermediate reading skills. Treble Choir may be taken for honors credit
Chamber Choir
Chamber Choir is the premier auditioned ensemble at Collierville High School. This choir is open to 10-12 grade SATB voices. Students will engage in advanced choral techniques, music history, and sight reading. Chamber Choir has consistently received superior and sweepstakes rankings annually for over two decades.
Chamber Choir students engage in performances in and outside of school. Honors credit is required for this course.
